Energy and climate wars refer to physical conflict as well as to ideological "wars" which are no less vicious/ cruel and violent since both relate to our use of the world’s most precious commodity: energy. This monograph has been written with the "concerned citizen" in mind, those who have grasped that energy is a critical issue for all of us; those who recognize that distorting sensationalist headlines have clouded public understanding on energy and climate. The greatest threat to mankind, Glover and Economides argue, does not lie in future energy wars or in apocalyptic eco-scenarios but in the growing need to distinguish between truth and propaganda in public debate.
